IF YOU WANT TO KNOW WHERE I GET MY COLLECTABLE SURFBOARDS READ THIS.
Welcome to my SurfRods  ( Board Room ) Vintage and Collectible Surf Boards. I started selling surfboards about 1982 in Santa Cruz, Cal.  at the Sky View Flea Market & Drive-in Theater.  I fell in love with the boards and learning to Surf.  Basicly my life was working at the Flea Market  Surfshop Saturday & Sunday and surfing 5 days a week.  It was a GOOD job."  I've had worse"   About 1987, I decided  to open a brick & morter store.  I found a store  on Seabright St. by the yacht harbor in Santa Cruz and opened  SeaBright Surf.  It was an all used boards Surf shop.  We also let new shappers sell their boards there.   I stocked 100 boards.  We sold the store in 1989 and  moved to Colorado.  We bought some land with rental cabins on it. Its right next to the Rocky Mountain National Park, about 50 feet from the Big Thompson River .   So if you would like to have a cabin right next to the Park let me know.  See my add on this web site ( Cabins ). I brought about 130 surfboards with me. Its a long story. So now I sell surfboards to HotRodders who show with their cars, mostly Stationwagons & Woodies.  I am always looking for old boards.  The junk is what I like the most.  We have traveled from Seattle to San Diego, going to as many Surfshops as we can find, looking for boards.  We have also been from  Corpus Christy ,Texas around the coast to Florida & up to New York.  We have  set up our SurfShop in 19 differant states over the last 5 years, at about 100 different Car Shows.  The amount of cars at these shows range from 1000 to 10,000 HotRods.  With that many peple, every once in a while someone will come up to me and say "hey I moved here from the coast about 20 or 25 years ago and I brought my old board. Would you like to have it". I love those days!.  So what you see below are boards I have aquired in my travels.  I will be listing about 50 boards as I have the time. Thank You for taking the time to read this.  I am sure it well give you a better appreciation for what you are about to see.   Again we thank you for your interest,         Aloha,,,,,,, John & Linda Hanak
